UP Manila Flag Ceremony Hosted by CAMP
Yesterday, CAMP opened the month of November by hosting the UP Manila Flag Ceremony in celebration of CAMP’s 63rd Foundation Anniversary and the 60th Anniversary of the College of Allied Medical Professions Alumni Association.
The ceremony began with opening remarks from CAMP Dean, Prof. Mia Rotor, who shared how regularly attending flag ceremonies energizes her and gives her hope for the week ahead. Afterwards, Chancellor Dr. Michael L. Tee challenged the CAMP community to reflect on how we can make an impact on national policy in our capacity as advocates for persons with disabilities.

The CAMP Foundation Awards for 2025 were presented to two Outstanding Administrative Staff members and one Outstanding Student Organization. Ms. Jofel Macul, administrative staff for the CAMP Refresher Course and the Office of Student Relations, received the award for job order staff, while Ms. Alma Labro, CAMP’s lone University Research Associate, received the award for full-time administrative staff. The Society of Occupational Therapy Majors received this year’s award for CAMP student organizations in recognition of their accomplishments in the previous academic year.
Alumni Relations Officer and Head of the Foundation Month celebrations, Asst. Prof. Missy Bentulan, then invited attendees to join the upcoming activities in celebration of November under the theme “Tatak UP CAMP: Grounded in Service, Soaring Beyond Borders.” College Secretary, Assoc. Prof. Yves Palad, closed the ceremony by thanking attendees for making the morning meaningful and expressing her excitement for the rest of the month’s festivities.
The event concluded with a brief but energizing dancercise led by CAMP Synergy.
