UP Manila CAMP Strengthens International Collaboration Through MOU with Politeknik Bentara Citra Bangsa University

The University of the Philippines Manila College of Allied Medical Professions (UP CAMP), through its Department of Speech Pathology, formally established a partnership with Politeknik Bentara Citra Bangsa University in Jakarta, Indonesia through the signing of a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) on June 25, 2026. The partnership marks an important milestone in the College’s continuing efforts to expand international collaborations and foster academic excellence through global engagement.
Held at the UP Manila campus, the signing ceremony brought together leaders from both institutions to formalize their shared commitment to advancing speech pathology education and promoting collaborative initiatives in teaching, research, and professional development.
Representing Politeknik Bentara Citra Bangsa University was Dr. Charles Ham, Vice Director for Academic Affairs. The UP Manila delegation was led by Dr. Bernadette Heizel D. Manapat-Reyes, Vice Chancellor for Academic Affairs, together with Dean Mia R. Rotor of the College of Allied Medical Professions, Asst. Prof. Hannah Maria D. Albert, Chair of the Department of Speech Pathology, and members of the department faculty. The ceremony served not only as the formalization of an institutional partnership but also as an opportunity for both institutions to exchange ideas and explore avenues for future collaboration.
The Memorandum of Understanding provides a framework for cooperation in areas of mutual interest related to speech pathology and allied health education. Through this partnership, UP Manila and Politeknik Bentara Citra Bangsa University seek to promote academic exchange, collaborative research, faculty and student development, curriculum enhancement, and other scholarly activities that will enrich learning experiences and strengthen professional competencies. By sharing expertise and best practices, both institutions aim to contribute to the continued advancement of speech pathology education in their respective countries and the broader Southeast Asian region.
