Doctor of Optometry Courtesy Visit at UP Manila
Despite the inclement weather conditions on Monday, September 22, 2025, Professor George Woo, Professor Emeritus from the School of Optometry of Hongkong Polytechnic University and Dr. Cindy Tromans, President of the World Council of Optometry, met with UP Manila Chancellor, Dr. Michael L. Tee to discuss the envisioned UP Doctor of Optometry program. They discussed its contextual relevance, international benchmarks, models for capacity building including faculty, facilities, and resources, and potential future collaborations.
