CAMP Testimonial for our Newly Licensed Professionals
On February 28, 2025, the UP College of Allied Medical Professions hosted a gathering in celebration of CAMP alumni who passed the November and December 2024 licensure examinations for Speech-language Pathology, Physical Therapy and Occupational Therapy.
The event brought together 73 successful examinees, including 14 top-ranked examinees of the November 2024 Speech-Language Pathology Licensure Examination and 8 top-ranked examinees of the December 2024 Occupational Therapy Licensure Examination.
The event was also attended by the Vice Chancellor for Administration and Finance, Dr. Johanna Patricia A. Cañal who delivered remarks on behalf of the Chancellor, reminding our graduates to say yes to the wide-ranging opportunities that will come their way now that they are licensed professionals, ready to serve.
The keynote address was given by proud CAMP alumna and director of Quezon City Kabahai Center for Children with Disabilities, Karen S. Sagun, OTRP, MRS, MSOT. She inspired graduates with her message, reminding our newly licensed colleagues how much their fellow Filipinos need them, and how much of an impact they can have on their communities. The event was also graced by the President of the UP Manila Alumni Association, Ms. Nanet C. Tanyag.
Psyche Tuballas, one of the new RSLPs, serenaded the crowd with her moving rendition of For Good before plaques and certificates were awarded to each of the honorees. Leonina Varca, RSLP then closed the ceremony with a response on behalf of the awardees, reminding her fellow honorees to take pride in this achievement and bring their heart for service wherever their paths may take them. The celebration was filled with pride, joy, and camaraderie to honor the achievements of our newest cohort of licensed professionals.
As the event concluded, the graduates were reminded that this milestone is just the beginning of their journey—one that holds endless opportunities to make a difference in the lives of others. Congratulations to all our new OTRPs, PTRPs and RSLPs! We can’t wait to see the incredible impact you will make as you serve the people who need you most.
